Taking a look back at a classic West Ham United moment on this day in history, in association with Heineken...
West Ham United's hopes of securing Premier League survival looked all but over when they were left ten points adrift of safety following a dramatic 3-4 home defeat by Tottenham Hotspur on 4 March 2007.
However, a sensational upturn in form inspired by forwards Carlos Tevez, and Bobby Zamora, a young Mark Noble and others, saw the Hammers win seven of their final nine matches to stay up on the final day, completing the greatest of escapes when the Argentina international's first-half goal scored a 1-0 win over champions Manchester United at Old Trafford.
Alan Curbishley's Irons ended the campaign in 15th place - an achievement that would have seemed far-fetched less than two months before, when they went into matchday 30 with just 20 points and bottom of the table!
Watch Tevez's historic goal, which was scored on this day an incredible 17 years ago, here!
