Taking a look back at a classic West Ham United moment on this day in history, in association with Heineken...
Nine years ago today, one of the greatest servants in modern West Ham United history was honoured in an afternoon of fun, family and football at the Boleyn Ground.
After serving the Club for almost 12 years at that point, Hammers captain Mark Noble was rewarded with the last testimonial match in E13 in front of 35,000 vociferous Claret and Blue-clad supporters.
Noble was part of a West Ham side which took on a legendary All-Stars XI, including the likes of Paolo Di Canio, Rio Ferdinand and Scott Parker.
From Adrián's - yes, Adrián's - wondergoal, to Dean Ashton's acrobatics, the afternoon in the glorious sunshine was a perfect way to mark Noble's years of service to West Ham United.
Noble would, of course, go on to turn out for the Hammers for a further six years, totalling 550 appearances before hanging up his boots and becoming the Club's Sporting Director.
