West Ham United boss David Moyes has been shortlisted for the Barclays Premier League Manager of the Month award for December 2023.
Moyes, who celebrated four years in charge of the Hammers since returning for his second spell in east London at the end of last month, enjoyed a December to remember as his West Ham team claimed four wins and a draw from six Premier League matches played.

A competitive 1-1 home draw with Crystal Palace at the start of December was followed by a memorable 2-1 victory away at Tottenham Hotspur courtesy of goals from Jarrod Bowen and James Ward-Prowse.
After the Irons then fell to their only league loss of the month away at Fulham, Moyes’ men bounced back for a trio of successive league wins; a 3-0 home victory against Wolverhampton Wanderers, a 2-0 win over Manchester United and a superb 2-0 success at Arsenal to end the year - the Scot's first career win away to the Gunners as a manager.
Moyes is competing against a trio of other managers for the December award. Liverpool’s Jürgen Klopp, Aston Villa’s Unai Emery and Andoni Iraola of AFC Bournemouth have also been shortlisted.
Voting for the December Manager of the Month is open now and closes on Monday 8 January 2024 at 12pm GMT. The winner will be announced on Friday 12 January at 12pm GMT.
