West Ham United U21s will play Colchester United in the last 32 of the Bristol Street Motors Trophy on Tuesday 5 December.
The young Hammers will travel to the JobServe Community Stadium to take on the EFL League Two side, with kick-off set for 7.30pm.
As per a dispensation request to the EFL the fixture will be hosted by Colchester United, despite West Ham originally being drawn as the home team.
The U21s beat Bristol Rovers, Newport County, and Cheltenham Town to book their place in the knockout stages for the first time since 2020/21.
The U’s, meanwhile, progressed as runners-up in their group following wins over Peterborough and Cambridge United and a defeat to Tottenham Hotspur U21s.
Steve Potts' side will hope to reach the last 16 of the competition for the first time in the Club’s history with a win in Essex.
Due to our involvement in the Bristol Street Motors Trophy, our Premier League International Cup match against GNK Dinamo Zagreb has been moved to Friday 19 January 2024.
Ticket details will be announced in due course.
