Vladimír Coufal and Tomáš Souček both featured in Czechia's 1-1 draw with Georgia in UEFA Euro 2024 on Saturday afternoon.
The West Ham United duo played the 90 minutes of the Group F clash in Hamburg, as their nation were ultimately frustrated by the major tournament debutants.
Czechia had to come from behind after Georgia took a surprise lead on the stroke of half-time and will now likely need to defeat Türkiye in their group stage finale on Wednesday to progress, after picking up one point from their opening two fixtures.
The Czechs thought they had taken a 23rd minute lead when Coufal's long throw bounced all the way through to Adam Hložek.
The Bayer Leverkusen man's first shot was saved, but the ball bounced back off his face and into the net, but a VAR check found the final touch had come off his arm and the goal was ruled out.
Georgia were then awarded a penalty right on half time, and Georges Mikautadze made no mistake to give his side the lead.
Czechia continued to create chances and Patrik Schick was denied by Georgia stopper Giorgi Mamardashvilli after being played in by Souček's slide-rule pass.
Their leveller eventually came on the hour when Ondrej Lingr's header from a corner came back off the post and Schick was in the right place to bundle home.
Souček and Coufal's side continued to make most of the running as they sought a winner, but it was Georgia who came so close to stealing the points in stoppage time when a quick break ended with sub Saba Lobzhanidze lifting the ball over the top.
Czechia's final group game sees them return to Hamburg, where they will face Türkiye on Wednesday for an 8pm BST kick-off.
