West Ham United youngsters Kaelan Casey and George Earthy have been named in England men's Elite League Squad (ELS) for November's games against Germany and Poland.
Meanwhile, Fin Herrick and Lewis Orford have both been included in England MU19s’ squad for three UEFA European U19 Championship qualifying round ties to be played in Bulgaria.
Boyhood friends and Academy of Football graduates Casey and Earthy are in former West Ham assistant coach Paul Nevin’s 23-man ELS squad for the two games.
The Young Lions are in action at Chesterfield against Germany on Friday 15 November at 7pm GMT, before travelling to Puławy for their second game against Poland on Tuesday 19 November at 4pm GMT.
It was a successful October camp for Nevin's side as they saw off Italy 2-1 and Czechia 3-0 in the 2024-25 EURO Elite League.
England top the eight-nation table with ten points from four matches played, with Germany second on nine points from three games, and Poland fifth with three points from three games.
Centre-back Casey, 20, has started three of England’s four ties – home wins over Romania and Czechia and the away victory in Italy – and has five ELS caps in total. Attacking midfielder Earthy, also 20 and currently on loan at EFL Championship club Bristol City, started the win in Italy and has three ELS caps to his name.
At MU19 level, goalkeeper Herrick and midfielder Orford are in Will Antwi’s 21-man squad for three UEFA European U19 Championship qualifying round Group 3 ties to be played in Bulgaria.
The Young Lions will tackle Lithuania at the Stadion Georgi Benkovski in Pazardzhik on Wednesday 13 November at 12noon GMT, group hosts Bulgaria at the Stadion Lokomotiv in Plovdiv on Saturday 16 November at 1.30pm GMT, and finally Belgium and the Stadion Lokomotiv on Tuesday 19 November at 1pm GMT.
The top-two finishers in each of the 13 groups, plus the best third-place team, will progress to the Elite Round, which will be held in spring 2025. Portugal receive a bye to the Elite Round, where the winners of seven four-nation groups will qualify for the final tournament in Romania next summer.
Herrick has two MU19 caps, while Orford has three and captained his country to a 4-1 win over the Netherlands in October.
Later on Friday, scholars Chukwuemeka Adiele, Lanre Awesu and Chinaza Nwosu also received callups. Defender Adiele is in the England MU18s squad for a four-team tournament in Spain, where they take on Poland at the Oliva Nova Sports Center on Friday 15 November, before tackling either Germany or Belgium, depending on the two semi-final results.
Goalkeeper Awesu and midfielder Nwosu were included in England's MU17s squad for a training camp and two friendly internationals with Belgium at Proximus Basecamp.
Previously, fellow scholar Gabriel Caliste was included in the senior Mauritius squad for a friendly with Hong Kong at Mong Kok Stadium on Tuesday 19 November.
West Ham United would like to congratulate our homegrown players on their England callups and wish them the best on international duty.
