Brighton & Hove Albion v West Ham United

Brighton fixture to take place as scheduled

The Premier League has today announced fixture amendments for the teams affected by the Emirates FA Cup semi-finals, as well as the broadcast selections for Matchweek 36, across the weekend of 10/11 May.

West Ham United's away trip to Brighton & Hove Albion will go ahead as scheduled, at 3pm BST on Saturday 26 April, owing to the Seagulls' defeat at the hands of Nottingham Forest in the Emirates FA Cup quarter-finals last weekend.

Supporters should however note that the dates and kick-off times for the Club’s Premier League fixtures with Nottingham Forest, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United all remain subject to change.

Should Forest win their FA Cup semi-final, against Manchester City on the weekend of 26/27 April, their final is scheduled for Saturday 17 May at Wembley Stadium. If they reach the showpiece, West Ham’s home game with Forest - currently set to take place on Sunday 18 May - will be potentially brought forward to the midweek of Tuesday 13/Wednesday 14 May.

While the home fixture with Tottenham on Saturday 3 May has not been selected for live broadcast, should Spurs overcome Eintracht Frankfurt and reach the UEFA Europa League semi-finals, the first leg would be played on Thursday 1 May and our London derby would move to Sunday 4 May at 2pm.

Similarly, our away clash against Manchester United on Saturday 10 May has not been chosen for live UK broadcast, but should the Red Devils defeat Lyon and reach the Europa League semi-finals themselves, the second leg would be played on Thursday 8 May and our game would likely move to Sunday 11 May, with a kick-off time to be confirmed.

A further update on each of the Nottingham Forest, Tottenham and Manchester United fixtures will be provided in due course.

West Ham United appreciates supporters’ patience and understanding in these circumstances.
