Bowen wins August Goal of the Month

Jarrod Bowen's goal at Crystal Palace has won the whufc.com vote for August Goal of the Month.

Bowen's game-clinching strike at Selhurst Park takes the first monthly prize of the season, as selected by Hammers fans.

The Irons skipper finished a swift counter to score his side's second goal in an excellent 2-0 win over the Eagles, collecting a pass from Maximilian KIlman - who strode out of defence impressively - before racing to the box, checking onto his left foot and slamming home.

Bowen's goal beat Josh Ajala's for our Under-21 side against Southampton into second place, while Tomáš Souček's strike - also against Crystal Palace - was third.
