West Ham United women's team beat Crystal Palace 5-2 in the Barclays Women's Super League on Sunday afternoon.
It was the first-ever WSL meeting between the two sides, with Rehanne Skinner's Hammers going in search of their second victory in succession after beating London City Lionesses in the Women's League Cup before the international break.
Palace started the better, racing into an early two-goal lead thanks to finishes from Mille Gejl and Indiah-Paige Riley. However, Viviane Asseyi responded almost immediately, slotting home after a good team move.
As the first half continued, the Hammers managed to get in front thanks to finishes from Seraina Piubel and Manuela Paví.
Anouk Denton added a fourth with a brilliant solo effort with eight minutes of normal time remaining to put her side in a commanding lead, before Katrina Gorry smashed in a fifth in stoppage time to round off a convincing win.
