Behind The Scenes | Ueki scores superb goal in Women's team home finale

West Ham United women’s team earned a hard-fought point against Leicester City in their final home outing of the 2023/24 Barclays Women's Super League campaign. 

A fast start at Chigwell Construction Stadium saw the Hammers take an early lead through Riko Ueki’s well-taken finish, only for Sophie Howard’s header to restore parity after 36 minutes. 

The Irons were under considerable pressure in the second half, but defended resolutely to secure a share of the spoils.
