Behind The Scenes | Hammers launch 1960s-inspired Home Kit

Go behind the scenes of our 2024/25 Home Kit video shoot with the West Ham TV cameras!

We launched our Home Kit for the new campaign on Wednesday, unveiling a design inspired by our 1960s golden era, which saw us pick up silverware both on the domestic and continental stages.

The launch included a cinematic launch film, which features cameos from some of the Club’s well known supporters including film and TV stars Hero Fiennes Tiffin, Tony Way and Harry Collett alongside 1965 Cup Winners’ Cup-winning legend Brian Dear and Roberta Moore, daughter of the late, great West Ham and England captain Bobby Moore. It also brings together modern-day stars like Jarrod Bowen and future prospect George Earthy.

The film boasts a specially commissioned soundtrack from The Rifles, which was mastered at the iconic Abbey Road Studios in St John’s Wood. Hammers fan and lead singer Joel Stoker was so enamoured with the instrumental version that he wrote lyrics and recorded the track 'Sweet Euphoria' with the band to be released as a single in conjunction with the new Home Kit.

It was shot in E.Pellicci – the best-preserved old school café in Bethnal Green, right in West Ham United’s East End heartland.

This bold kit celebrates the memories of our past triumphs, all while showing how the determination, spirit and style of the teams which won the FA Cup and European Cup Winners’ Cup in consecutive seasons, along with playing a pivotal role in England’s 1966 World Cup-winning campaign, paved the way for the Club as it is today.
