Victories taste good, but derby-day wins taste even sweeter. West Ham United women's team were full of celebration on Sunday as they saw off Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 in front of a loud Chigwell Construction Stadium.
Verena Hanshaw's strike deflected off Josefine Rybrink to put the Hammers in the ascendency and the second came in the 90th minute via a Viviane Asseyi free-kick.
Rehanne Skinner's side continue to set new records and keep the points coming at home, and they moved above Spurs in the Barclays Women's Super League standings - up to eighth - courtesy of Sunday's result.
