East London was full of celebration on Sunday as West Ham United women’s team defeated Brighton & Hove Albion 3-1.

Goals from Shekiera Martinez, Riko Ueki and Viviane Asseyi sent Rehanne Skinner’s side up to eighth in the Barclays Women’s Super League standings, making sure Nikita Parris’ early equaliser failed to have a say on who claimed the three points.
