Taking a look back at a classic West Ham United moment on this day in history, in association with RoadX Tyres...
West Ham United continued their run to the FA Cup final with a thrilling 4-2 victory over Blackburn Rovers in the fourth round on this day in 2006.
The Hammers had gone behind after just 28 seconds, but rallied to lead 3-1 at half-time, courtesy of goals from Teddy Sheringham, Matthew Etherington and an own goal from Rovers defender Zurab Khizanishvili.
The visitors hit back through a fine Lucas Neill effort to set up a tense finish at the Boleyn Ground, however just eight minutes later Bobby Zamora put the result beyond doubt with a calm finish.
The Irons famously went on to the final at Wembley, falling just short in a penalty shoot-out against Liverpool.
