West Ham United U23s were held to a 1-1 draw by Chelsea U23s in their latest Premier League 2 outing at Rush Green Stadium on Tuesday evening.
The Hammers opened the scoring in the second half with a low finish from Kai Corbett but George McEachran’s late penalty for the visitors saw the spoils shared in east London.
Dmitri Halajko’s side are now unbeaten in their last three matches as they look to climb the table and secure their spot in Premier League 2 Division 1 for next season.
A short turnaround will see the development squad back in action this Friday evening against Manchester United U23s at Leigh Sports Village.
