Vladimír Coufal joined West Ham United from reigning Czech First League champions Slavia Prague, signing a contract until the summer of 2023 for an undisclosed fee, with the option of a further two years.
Capped eight times by his country, the 28-year-old joins his former Slavia and current national team colleague Tomáš Souček at London Stadium.
Coufal arrives at West Ham after two outstanding seasons for club and country, having won back-to-back First League titles and one Czech Cup with Slavia and helped the Czech Republic to qualify for UEFA Euro 2021.
