On This Day: Aaron Cresswell's first Premier League goal sees off Newcastle United

Taking a look back at a classic West Ham United moment on this day in history, in association with RoadX Tyres...

Aaron Cresswell scored his first Premier League goal as West Ham United moved up to fifth in the table with victory over ten-man Newcastle United on this day in 2014.

Signed from Ipswich Town that summer, Cresswell's 56th-minute strike ended the Magpies' run of five successive league wins and handed Sam Allardyce's Hammers their first in four to move onto 21 points from 13 games.

Alan Pardew's Newcastle finished a man down after captain Moussa Sissoko was shown two yellows in the space of 46 seconds with a little under 15 minutes to play.
