Taking a look back at a classic West Ham United moment on this day in history, in association with RoadX Tyres...
West Ham United held off Sheffield Wednesday to win a seven-goal Premier League thriller at the Boleyn Ground on this day in 1999!
Paulo Wanchope bundled in the opener on 28 minutes after Trevor Sinclair's shot had been deflected high into the air, but the Owls flew back and took the lead through goals from Petter Rudi and Wim Jonk either side of half-time.
Paolo Di Canio and Frank Lampard were both denied before Sinclair was tripped by Dutchman Jonk inside the penalty area, enabling the Italian to step up and level from the spot against his former club.
Andy Booth put Wednesday back in front on 66 minutes before two goals in quick succession scored by Marc Vivien Foe and Lampard finally turned the match in West Ham's favour.
