Goals from Teddy Sheringham and Marlon Harewood saw West Ham recover from a Jason Roberts goal down to secure a vital victory.
Pardew's side went on to finish sixth before going up through the Play-Offs, defeating Crystal Palace 1-0 at the Millennium Stadium to secure promotion.
