West Ham United can confirm that the kick-off time for the Leasing.com Trophy match between the U21 team and Exeter City on Wednesday 13 November has been moved.
Originally scheduled for 7.45pm, the match at Exeter’s St James Park will now kick-off at the earlier time of 7pm.
Drawn in Group E of the Southern section of the competition, West Ham United U21s open their EFL Trophy 2019/20 campaign this Wednesday away at Newport County’s Rodney Parade.
They will also play Cheltenham Town at Whaddon Road on Tuesday 8 October, before going to Exeter for their final group stage fixture, with the top two teams qualifying for the next round.
The competition allows Category One academy sides to gain invaluable experience against opposition from Football League One and League Two, which is beneficial for their development.
