West Ham United U23s boosted their chances of progressing to the knockout stages of the Premier League International Cup with a 3-1 victory over Brighton & Hove Albion U23s on Wednesday evening.
Nathan Holland, Alfie Lewis and Anthony Scully were all on target for the Hammers at a rain-soaked People's Pension Stadium in Crawley.
The win leaves West Ham with six points from their three group stage matches. Dmitri Halajko's side now faces a nervous wait to see if that will prove enough to progress, with other results in the group needing to go their way.
