Details for West Ham United U18s' FA Youth Cup third-round tie with Charlton Athletic U18s have been confirmed.
The London derby will take place at 7pm on Friday 13 December at the Chigwell Construction Stadium in Dagenham.
With Premier League and Championship clubs entering the competition at this stage, it will be both sides first taste of FA Youth Cup action this term.
West Ham lost to Brighton on penalties in round three last year, but the young Hammers have made a positive start to life under new Lead Coach Kevin Keen.
The Academy side currently sit fourth in the U18 Premier League South and were 3-1 winners against Leicester City in their latest league outing.
The prestigious FA Youth Cup tournament was last won by West Ham back in 1999, when a team that included Michael Carrick and Joe Cole beat Coventry City 9-0 on aggregate. Previously, the Hammers also lifted the trophy in 1963 and 1981.
Charlton Athletic have also enjoyed a positive start to the season and are unbeaten in the U18 Professional Development League Group B, sitting in second place.
As a result of the FA Youth Cup tie taking place on the evening of Friday 13 December, West Ham United U23s' Premier League 2 Division 2 fixture against Newcastle United the following week will be moved to 12noon on Monday 16 December.
