Tottenham Hotspur were left feeling sick on 7 May 2006 as their UEFA Champions League hopes were dashed by West Ham United at the Boleyn Ground.

Carl Fletcher lashed the Hammers in front at the Boleyn Ground before Jermain Defoe leveled for Spurs. The visitors were further boosted when Paul Robinson saved Teddy Sheringham's penalty, only for Yossi Benayoun to ruin their chances of a top-four finish with a spectacular late winner.
