Chicharito aided his Mexico teammates to a deserved 3-1 victory over Chile in an overnight friendly.
The striker - who recently scored his 51st and 52nd Premier League goals in the 4-3 win over Huddersfield Town - was a second half substitute in the fixture at the Qualcomm Stadium.
Mexico's forward line was instead led by Wolves' Raul Jimenez, who opened the goalscoring with a penalty, which he tucked away on 52 minutes.
A quick-fire double from the highly-rated Hirving Lozano just 12 minutes later had the game wrapped up in Mexico's favour.
Chile were able to find a consolation thanks to Nicolas Castillo's goal 20 minutes from time, with Chicharito entering the fray on 75 minutes.
It was a brief run-out for the 30-year-old, but Chicharito will have another opportunity to pull on the Mexico shirt when his nation play Paraguay in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Paraguay - and West Ham United defender Fabian Balbuena - were on the wrong end of a 1-0 scoreline on Friday evenng, losing 1-0 to Peru.
Balbuena started the match, played at the Red Bull Arena, in which Christian Cueva scored the only goal of the game. The Hammers No4 earned his eighth cap for Paraguay in the process, a number he could add to in the match against Chicharito and Mexico next week.
