Matt Beard is anticipating a tough test for his West Ham United side when they take on Aston Villa in the SSE Women's FA Cup this weekend, but says his team has the quality to get into the semi-finals.
The Hammers will meet the Women's Championship side on Sunday for a spot in the last four of the competition, and Beard is expecting Villa to be fully up for the match in front of their home supporters.
However, the West Ham boss is confident that his team have the credentials to get through a potentially tricky fixture.

"Aston Villa are a team that have been going for a few years, whereas we're a team that was only put together this season," Beard told whufc.com. "We know this is going to be a tough game. They're playing at home, in front of their fans, so they will be really up for it.
"We are also playing on an AstroTurf pitch, which is something we're not used to, so add all that up and we're in for a tricky game.
"We know how we can perform though, and we've got enough quality in our dressing room to be able to deal with any pressure that gets thrown at us. We have international players and proven winners in our team, and I know they will do all they can to push us into the semi-finals."
Having lost to Everton Ladies on Wednesday, Beard is looking forward to the challenge on this weekend's cup game, and the opportunity to bounce back from the loss in convincing fashion.
"Cup games like this take attention away from the league," he added. "Our team has certainly got the character to bounce back from Wednesday and not let it get to us. We've had it a couple of times this season where we may not have got the result we wanted, or deserved, but we have then bounced back and done very well in the next game.
"I'm sure we can respond. We've already responded well in training and the players know the level they need for Sunday. We are only two matches away from Wembley, and the players know exactly what that means."
