Recalling a moment of Hammers history on this day, in association with Basset & Gold...
Eighteen years ago today, Paolo Di Canio produced a moment of FA Cup magic to defeat Manchester United at Old Trafford.
In one of the club's most famous goals in the world's oldest knockout competition, the Italian kept his composure to slot past Fabian Barthez and score the only goal of the game, despite the goalkeeper's attempt to distract him by appealing for a non-existent offside.
Di Canio was not going to let his focus drop, and he put the ball into the net to send the Hammers through. Relive that goal in our video above!
