Samir Nasri is handed his West Ham United debut in Saturday’s Emirates FA Cup third round tie with Birmingham City.
Nasri, who joined the Hammers on a free transfer at the end of last month, starts in a strong side Manuel Pellegrini has named for his team’s first game in this year’s competition.
Adrian captains the team as he plays a fourth cup game of the campaign, while Issa Diop and Angelo Ogbonna play in the heart of defence in front of him.
Declan Rice and Pedro Obiang anchor the midfield, with Grady Diangana and Xande Silva either side of him supporting Marko Arnautovic in attack.
The likes of Felipe Anderson, Andy Carroll and Aaron Cresswell are named among the substitutes, while there is also a place on the bench for youngster Conor Coventry.
