Samir Nasri makes his return from a calf injury to start against his former side Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday night.
Nasri has been on the sidelines for a month, but will play from the off behind striker Andy Carroll as Manuel Pellegrini’s men look to upset the odds against the title-chasing Citizens.
19-year-old defender Ben Johnson is handed a first team debut at left-back, with Aaron Cresswell nursing a foot injury.
Pellegrini makes five changes overall from the side which defeated Fulham, with Pedro Obiang and Ryan Fredericks joining Nasri, Carroll and Johnson as the players coming into the team.
Pablo Zabaleta, Mark Noble, Robert Snodgrass, Chicharito and Cresswell are the five to make way.
Marko Arnautovic is also absent from the matchday squad as he is ill.
