West Ham United can confirm that women's defender Vyan Sampson has joined Championship side London City Lionesses on a season-long loan.
Sampson moved to West Ham from Arsenal last year and featured in 19 matches in all competitions for the Irons, including 12 in the Barclays FA Women's Super League.
The 23-year-old will now spent the 2019/20 campaign with the newly formed Lionesses in the second tier of women's football, as Chris Phillips' side look to add to their three points earned in two league matches so far this season.
