The West Ham United U18s ended their pre-season with a 2-2 draw against Crystal Palace U18 on Saturday morning.
Veron Parkes and Kai Corbett were on the scoresheet for Kevin Keen’s side as they finished their pre-season programme. West Ham will once again be playing in the U18 Premier League South against opposition from other category one academies such as Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.
New Lead Coach and former West Ham player Kevin Keen returned to the club at the start of July and has been in the dugout throughout pre-season. The U18s faced Peterborough U18, Felixstowe and Harlow Town in pre-season and also took part in a tour to Holland where they beat local side Sparta Enschede 7-1.
The Hammers begin their campaign at home against Swansea U18 at the Little Heath Sports Ground on Saturday 10 August at 11:00.
