Support the U23s in bid for survival at London Stadium

Everton

West Ham United’s U23s will be fighting for their lives on Monday night as they look to climb out the relegation zone on the final match day in Premier League 2 Division 1 as they take on champions Everton.

The Hammers couldn’t have asked for a tougher test in their final encounter as the Toffees, already crowned as league winners, visit London Stadium for the 7pm fixture, which Season Ticket Holders and Claret Members can attend for free.

Steve Potts’ men are two points from safety, behind London rivals Tottenham Hotspur who take on Derby County tonight.

West Ham know only a win will do for themselves, hoping at the same time Spurs slip up and cannot beat the Rams. The east Londoners, with a superior goal difference, would survive should they beat Everton and Tottenham only draw at home to Derby.

Everton lifted the Premier League 2 trophy after their 1-0 home victory over Brighton & Hove Albion earlier this month, and the Irons will be hoping tonight’s visitors have already turned their attentions elsewhere given their status as champions already.

The Hammers will also be looking to avenge their 2-1 defeat on Merseyside earlier this season, when Veron Parkes’ first ever U23 goal was not enough to earn the visitors any points at Everton’s Southport FC home.

Tickets for Monday’s fixture are free for Season Ticket Holders, though seats must be booked in advance. Supporters can do so here. Alternatively, tickets are priced at £5 for adults and £3 for concessions.
