Felipe Anderson: 60,000 at London Stadium will make such a difference

Felipe Anderson says seeing crowds of 60,000 at London Stadium will be a dream for every player in a Claret & Blue shirt.

West Ham United this week announced that they will soon be able to increase the matchday capacity to that 60,000 figure, after reaching agreement with London Stadium landlords E20 to take the first step towards the Hammers’ home becoming the largest Premier League stadium in London with a capacity of 66,000.

Felipe Anderson, who has already experienced the roar of more than 55,000 Hammers backing the side, cannot wait for the attendance records at London Stadium be broken in the very near future.

“It’s very important [for the capacity to increase to 60,000],” he said. “For a player we dream of seeing these things when we enter a pitch.

“The fans believe in us when things aren’t going well and especially in these times they can make a huge difference.

“When things go well it’s easy but when we are in difficult times to have the fans there who believe in us is so important, as 60,000 can make so much difference.”

Following on from the capacity increase announcement, additional Season Tickets will be made available to supporters on the Season Ticket Waiting List.
