West Ham United Foundation launch Ambassador Scheme

 

West Ham United Foundation has launched a new Ambassador scheme aimed at raising achievement and aspiration in the local community.

The new initiative will see influential local people support the Foundation’s mission of providing the best inclusive community engagement programmes in sports, education and inclusion by promoting the success of individual participants.

Ambassadors will represent the values and principles of the Foundation and back its vision to be the leading social and community outreach organisation in east London and Essex, using the power of the West Ham United brand to create pathways, provide opportunities and change lives.

Joseph Lyons, West Ham United Foundation CEO Joseph Lyons welcomed the valuable new initiative.

“We are proud to be connecting with inspiring individuals from business, local authority and third sectors who reflect our values,” said Lyons. “We believe that together we can grow as an organisation and continue to serve the needs of our communities.”

Ambassadors’ roles will vary depending on the skillset and motivation of individuals appointed.

However, all will harness their relevant expertise in a positive and empowering way to raise awareness on the work of the Foundation by promoting its programmes, providing mentoring and inspiring better futures.
