West Ham United U18s were edged out of the FA Youth Cup by Brighton & Hove Albion in a dramatic third-round game on Monday evening.
Amadou Diallo put the Hammers in front inside six minutes, but Danny Cashman equalised in the second half before Serine Sanneh saved an extra-time penalty taken by Brighton's Teddy Jenks.
However, Jenks had the last laugh as he netted the winning spot-kick in the shootout which decided the tie.
