West Ham United Foundation are offering a whole host of festive activities for junior Hammers across east London and Essex this Christmas and New Year, and you can save 20% when you book before 15 December 2016 by using discount code WHUCRACKER when booking.
Children will take part in a session suitable for their age group and all participants will receive a West Ham United certificate and medal, while Academy scouts and coaches are to attend each and every venue. Recent holiday programmes have seen several youngsters referred to the Club's famed Academy!
All West Ham United Foundation activities are delivered by FA-qualified, DBS-checked and emergency first aid-trained coaches.
The following are available during the 2016/17 festive period:
Christmas Cracker Soccer Schools
Available for boys and girls aged 3-15, Christmas Crackers are two-day courses in the build-up to Christmas for all abilities.
Running at venues across Basildon, Beckton, Brentwood, Chelmsford, Hornchurch and Thurrock, all attendees also receive a West Ham-themed Christmas gift!
Following the successful addition of West Ham United Ladies into the West family, this year also sees us launch our first Girls-Only sessions. These will take place at Basildon, and follow the same format as all other Christmas Cracker Soccer Schools, but in a more comfortable environment for girls who may want to try football for the first time, or just prefer to play alongside other girls.
Technical Development at Chadwell Heath
Delivered by UEFA B level coaches at West Ham’s famous Chadwell Heath training ground, these sessions are suitable for 13-18 year olds looking to develop their technical skills and potentially progress to Academy football.
Endorsed by West Ham United's Academy Head of Recruitment, Dave Hunt, the sessions are suitable for aspiring strikers, midfielders and goalkeepers, with position specific coaching delivered as preferred.
West Ham United Foundation are able to provide exit routes from the sessions for talented players, either into our Learning Academy programme, or by acceptance into the Academy via trial.
These sessions are for two hours, will run for one day only, and are priced at £17.50.
4:30pm – 6:30pm – 13-15 year olds
6:30pm – 8:30pm – 16-18 year olds
New Year Skills School – New for 2017!
Following a similar format to our popular Soccer School courses, our New Year offering provides an extra opportunity for young hammers and football mad juniors to take part in more football over the festive period!
These sessions are available in Beckton and Basildon only, and are suitable for children aged 5-15 years.
