Hammers supporters win the eToro Fans Cup

Some West Ham fans took to the Boleyn Ground pitch to win the eToro Cup
The inaugural eToro Fans Cup has been won by Hammers fans representing the West Ham United 1995 team, with the tournament being held at the Boleyn Ground.

As the Official Social Trading Partner of West Ham United, eToro ran a competition offering fans a once in a lifetime opportunity to play a six-a-side tournament on the hallowed pitch. Joining four teams named after different West Ham United eras, 40 fans got to follow in their heroes’ footsteps and battled it out to take home the eToro Fans Cup.

Having eased their way through the group stages, West Ham United 1995 played a hard-fought match against West Ham United 1975 in the final. The evenly matched teams went blow for blow ending the match 2-2 at the final whistle, setting-up penalties. Player of the Tournament Scott McNab was the shootout hero, making a fine save to win the silverware for his team.

Hammers legend Phil Parkes hosted the day and commented: “The eToro Fans Cup was a brilliant tournament and to play at the Boleyn Ground is any supporters’ dream! The standard of football has been excellent and I’m sure there will have been a number of moments from the day which will live long in their memories.”
