Elliot Lee scored his first goal for Colchester United in an enthralling 3-3 draw with Wigan Athletic.

The Lancashire club took the lead through Yanic Wildschut before Alex Gilbey’s thunderbolt levelled the proceedings. Ryan Colclough restored their lead however Lee was on hand to square things up just after half-time with a fine finish.

Former Hammer George Moncur then gave the U’s the lead with an emphatic penalty however Will Grigg equalised in the 90th minute.

Defender Leo Chambers also played the full 90 minutes – his third appearance for Kevin Keen’s side – Colchester haven’t lost a game since Chambers joined on loan.

Reece Burke and Josh Cullen both played the full 90 minutes as Bradford City beat Doncaster 2-1 to climb in to the Play Off positions. With ten games to go, the Bantams are sixth, with 58 points.

Clarke Bogard’s Tilbury secured a 3-1 win over Bury Town thanks a Kurt Smith brace and substitute Neil Richmond’s goal.

Jaanai Gordon played the full game as Sligo Rovers slipped to a 1-0 defeat away at Bohemians, Kurtis Byrne’s early goal proving to be the difference.

Sam Westley was an unused substitute as VVV Venlo drew 2-2 with Ajax II in the Eerste Divisie. The partner club are going strong in the league, currently second behind Sparta Rotterdam.        

Diego Poyet was an unused substitute as Charlton Athletic beat Middlesbrough 2-0 at the Valley.
