Noble - What Dimi's doing is special

Mark Noble once again had special praise for the Hammers' No27 after Sunday's draw at Man Utd
Mark Noble says the Hammers will take great confidence from Sunday’s game at Manchester United, even if they had to settle for a 1-1 draw after Anthony Martial’s late equaliser for the Red Devils.

West Ham looked set for Wembley when Dimitri Payet’s unstoppable free kick gave them the lead midway through the second half, only for Martial’s far post finish to level the scores.

However, Noble took great heart from his team’s performance and is looking forward to taking Louis van Gaal’s men back to the Boleyn Ground.

He said: “Coming to Old Trafford and playing the way we did, especially in the first half [is great]. We probably should have been two up in the first 20 minutes, Emi had a couple of great chances, Andy had a couple too.

“What a fantastic goal it was from Dimi, another great free kick. What he’s doing at the minute is special.

“We’re a little disappointed to be honest because we should have come away with the win, but credit to Man Utd, they fought back.

“We’ll take a look of confidence from that today and now we’ve got them at Upton Park which is another great game for us there.”
