West Ham United can confirm that forward Mauro Zarate has joined ACF Fiorentina on a permanent basis for an undisclosed fee.
Zarate spent 18 months with the Hammers, scoring seven goals in 29 appearances, including memorable strikes against Arsenal, Chelsea and West Bromwich Albion in recent months.
The Argentinian, who joined West Ham from Velez Sarsfield in summer 2014, has returned to Serie A following previous spells in Italy with Lazio and Internazionale.
