Mark Noble made a special trip across London on Thursday as he was the main guest on Sky Sport's Fantasy Football Club.
Noble joined co-presenters Max Rushden and former Arsenal forward Paul Merson as he looked back on his career with the east London club and was also asked to choose his Fantasy XI.
The West Ham United skipper was not the only Hammer who ventured across the capital as over 100 fans also made their way to the studios in Osterley, west London.
It was nearly a record audience with only music legend Noel Gallagher attracting a bigger audience in the history of the show.
West Ham TV were once again on hand as they went behind the scenes with Nobes and followed his every move as he enjoyed a memorable afternoon at the Sky studios.
Noble said: “Merse and Max are great guys and it was great to come on the show. To be honest I don't really do these kind of shows, but everyone thought it would be good for me to do it.
“I am so grateful for all the fans who also came over to support me on the show and it is not bad having the record audience just behind Noel Gallagher!
“Hopefully I did the show justice and was honest with my opinions.
“I chose my Fantasy team based on the players I have come up against and the ones who have given me a lesson. I have just tried to be honest.
“It is tough asking to do the best players you have played with, but when they said I could do the ones I have come up against, I was over the moon.
“There are a few surprises in there with some of the players I came up against when I was younger that really stood out in my mind.”
Merson was thrilled to have Noble on the show and has nothing but admiration for the way the West Ham skipper has become one a one-club man and has made over 350 appearances for the Hammers.
The Arsenal legend cannot understand how Noble has not made a breakthrough into the England squad and hopes he will finally get rewarded for the superb form he has shown this season.
Merson said: “I said to Max in our meeting that is very rare for a player to have a Testimonial in the modern game. It is thoroughly deserved for Mark and to sell 30,000 tickets tells you everything you need to know about him as a player and a person.
“It was unbelievable how many people turned up for the show. He was a great guest and I do fancy West Ham for the cup this year.
“I believe 100 per cent he should be in the England squad. How he is not in there is beyond me.
“I don't see enough midfield players who have performed better than him. Mark does it every week and it is a shame for him not to be picked by England. He was a great guest on the show and we would like him every week with the numbers who came along to support him!”
Noble was asked to choose his Fantasy XI and opted to go for the best players he has come up against during his career.
Noble's Fantasy XI:
Petr Cech
Gary Neville
Rio Ferdinand
Laurent Koscielny
Leighton Baines

Paul Scholes

The Fantasy Football Club will be shown on Sky Sports 1 at 6.30pm and Sky Sports 5 at 10.15pm on Friday February 19.
