Diangana is targeting more goals when the young Hammers travel to Brighton
Explosive winger Grady Diangana is targeting more goals as the West Ham United U18s play their last game of the regular season away at Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday 06 February.
The 17-year-old has been one of the standout performers for the Hammers this term, scoring seven goals as well as providing a raft of assists.
Looking ahead to Saturday’s trip to face the Seagulls, Diangana said: “Overall this season we have done well. We had a slight dip in the middle, but now we’ve won our last three games.
“Hopefully we can finish off with a win and try and get into the top four play-off positions.”
Earlier in the season, Diangana scored the all-important goal in the reverse fixture back in October with a clinical close range finish.
Having impressed for the U18s, Diangana earned his place in the Development Squad side which drew 1-1 away at league leaders Derby County.
In a tight affair, it was the winger’s incisive through ball that set Luka Belic free to break the deadlock.
Diangana continued: “I was pleased with my performance, and I hope to make more appearances for the Dev Squad toward the end of the season.”
