Junior Journo Mitchell Tomlin control of the West Ham TV microphone at Saturday's Barclays Premier League match against Arsenal.
Young Mitchell had a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to go behind the scenes at the Boleyn Ground, welcoming the Hammers, watching the thrilling 3-3 draw from the Press Box before taking the opportunity to ask some pressing post-match questions of hat-trick hero Andy Carroll and Michail Antonio!
The schoolboy reporter also wrote enthusiastically for whufc.com after his big day:
"On 9 April I was the Junior Journalist at the West Ham v Arsenal game. I felt very nervous but also excited. I watched the players enter the tunnel and got a few high fives too!! Matt was a very nice man and looked after me and my Mum.
"We watched the players warm up and then watched the game. It was brilliant. I got to interview Andy Carroll and Michail Antonio and I met my favourite player, Dimitri Payet!
"I had the chance to give my pre and post match thoughts, I had a lot to say but I was so nervous nothing was coming out of my mouth. It was the best day ever!!
"My Mum was taking lots of pictures of me and the players. I would love to be a journalist when I'm older. Thank you to everyone for making me feel so welcome!"
