FT: Dev Squad 0-2 Fulham U21
FT: And that's that. The final whistle goes and it's Fulham, somewhat fortunately, who take the three points. The Hammers huffed and puffed yet it was the Cottagers who made the most of their chances.
90+3: Final exchanges of the match. The crowd are still making a huge amount of noise, excellent support as ever.
90: Three minutes of added time to be played.
89: Meanwhile down the other end, Fulham almost seal the result with a third breakaway goal yet Humphrys elects to smash it rather than place it.
87: Close! Samuelsen fires over narrowly from the edge of the box. That was not far away at all.
84: Further patient build up play, the performance tonight has gone unrewarded but certainly some positives to take away.
82: Spiegel rises highest to claim a free-kick comfortably and he boots it upfield. Pike wins a corner and from the resultant cross, he stabs just wide of the near post. Close!
79: Frustration creeping into the claret and blues. They've tried everything and despite enjoying the majority of the chances and possession they have little to show for their efforts.
77: Excellent burst into the box by Page. Makasi spots him and picks him out with a backheel yet he is crowded out by white shirts.
75: Dobson's attempted scoop over the defence just has too much on it for Samuelsen to reach. A good idea nonetheless.
72: Pike switches it with a raking pass to Page, his control is excellent and he lays it off to Samuelsen. A lovely bit of trickery gets him to the byline yet Fulham snuff the danger out.
69: Free-kick in a dangerous position as Makasi is fouled when the Hammers had numbers on the Cottagers' defence. Cullen takes it but it gets a deflection and Rodak smothers.
67: Another substitution for Fulham. Mattias Kait is off and replaced by Dennis Adeniran.
65: Another corner for the young Irons as Browne smashes a cross against Evans. Again, Rodak comes to claim it.
61: Triple substitution for the Hammers. Leaving the field Joey O'Brien, Djair Parfitt-Williams and Grady Diangana, on come Amos Nasha, Alex Pike and Moses Maksi. Fulham respond by bringing on Stephen Humphreys for Jon Dagur Thorsteinsson.
59: Good pressure by Josh Cullen and he almost disposesses Rodak who dallied on the ball. The keeper just manages to clear it.
56: Good sliding tackle by Page on Sheckleford which brings to end a promising move from Fulham. The hosts are pressing for a goal yet can't find a way through a solid defence.
53: Goal for Fulham. Would you believe it? Against the run of play, Fulham have doubled their advantage. Dean O'Halloran squeezes it past Spiegel. 0-2.
52: Two more chances for the Hammers as Josh Cullen looks to bend one in the top corner before Browne has his shot charged down.
49: Half-chance as Dobson fires goalward yet Rodak saw it early enough and made the save look easier then it was.
47: A hugely impressive turnout here tonight as 2370 fans have come to support the young Hammers. Thanks to all who made the effort, let's hope their support is rewarded!
46: We're back under way here at the Boleyn Ground. Martin Samuelsen and Marcus Browne with the re-start. COYI!
HT: That's the half-time whistle. The Hammers have looked good for the most part yet it's the west Londoners who lead. A long way to go yet!
44: Superb ball from Cullen to Parfitt-Williams who skins his man all ends up. Samuelsen picks the ball up on the edge of the box but his shot is charged down.
42: Going a goal behind has certianly sparked the Dev Squad into life. Joey O'Brien is inches away from equalising yet Rodak scrambles it to safety.
39: Close! Superb work from Lewis Page as he gets to the byline following a lovely one-two with Cullen. He feeds Diangana who somehow misses from close range. The goal was gaping and all it needed was a touch.
35: The Hammers respond almost immediately as Marcus Browne winds another shot up. It falls agonizingly wide of the left hand post.
34: Goal for Fulham. Jordan Evans arrows a powerful free-kick past Spiegel. It was swerving all over the place. 0-1.
32: Diangana is bundled over but the referee isn't moved. Fulham are enjoying more of the ball as the half wears on.
28: Spiegel deals with a short backpass well. He's called into action again as Page chests a ball back to him under pressure from striker Jon Dagur Thorsteinsson.
25: Slight lull in proceedings as both teams are matching each other. However Diangana has definitely got a spark about him, as does Parfitt-Williams.
21: Excellent work by Lewis Page who clears his lines. Akinola also puts in a fantastic challenge and feeds Samuelsen who races away down the left-flank. Another corner for the Hammers.
18: Fulham trying to impose themselves on the game, but with little end product so far. Williams makes another run but is caught offside.
15: Another corner for the Hammers after O'Brien and Parfitt-Williams combine. The delievery is good, Akinola gets to it but the Cottagers scramble it clear.
13: Josh Cullen's inswinging corner is headed away by Williams. The Hammers gather and build again. Excellent possession based football so far.
11: Youngsters George Dobson and Marcus Browne are more then holding their own out in the middle. Dobson wins the ball back and feeds Browne who tries his luck from 25-yards. He connects well but it flies just over the bar.
8: Quick feet from Samuelsen draws another foul. He's playing as a striker tonight, he's scored three goals in six games so far this season. Will he add to his tally this evening?
5: First proper chance of the match as Samuelsen almost latches onto a through ball. Fulham goalkeeper Marek Rodak rushes out to collect and clear the danger.
4: The Hammers respond as Grady Diangana bursts forward and is tripped. The free-kick is cleared away but the Hammers build again following good work from Cullen, Page and Samuelsen.
2: The Cottagers go on the attack but it fizzles out for a goalkick, George Williams was lurking yet Raphael Spiegel was able to watch the ball go out of play.
1: Fulham get us under way, kicking left to right in the first half.
18.59: Here come the teams! The Hammers are led out by captain Josh Cullen, wearing their traditional claret and blue home strip. Visitors Fulham are in their customary white shirt and black shorts.
18.55: The Dev Squad are looking for their second win on the bounce having beaten Wolverhampton Wanderers U21 4-0 last Monday.
18.50: Welcome news for the hosts as Joey O'Brien starts his first game since suffering an injury. Kyle Knoyle will play in central defence alongside highly rated youngster Olatunji Akinola.
18.45: Just 15 minutes to go until kick off here at the Boleyn! There's been a late change to the Hammers' line up as Grady Diangana comes in for Jaanai Gordon. Moses Makasi makes the bench.
