'Scoring goals is my job'

Mauro Zarate was delighted to play his part in securing another famous victory for the Hammers against Chelsea.

Having scored at Arsenal on the opening day of the season, Zarate was on the scoresheet again as the Hammers secured a fourth major scalp of the campaign.

Zarate's goal was his fourth of the season and now he just wants to notch more and more.

He explained: "It was a fantastic result and a fantastic match. Everyone ran and everyone worked and that is the way we have to play to take the three points.

"I'm really happy for the goal because it helped us get the victory. It's my job to try to get some assists or score, and most importantly work for the team.

"I think getting that early goal helped give us the belief to go on and beat Chelsea. They are a big team with skilful players who are fantastic with the dribbling, but we worked hard against that.

"We're really tired because it was a difficult match, but we won.

"Andy's winning goal was fantastic - only he can score a header like that."
