One Goal project returns this half-term!

The One Goal project which allows young people to take part in sport and creative arts is set to return this October half term.

The One Goal programme is delivered by the West Ham United Foundation in Havering, as well as in Barking and Dagenham and Newham.

The project, which started in May, aims to encourage creative thinking amongst young people between five and 21, as well as making them more physically active. The free sessions include multi sports as well as creative arts workshops.

The overall programme is delivered by property company L and Q in conjunction with eight other football clubs across London including Charlton Athletic, the project’s lead partner amongst them.

Matthew Corbett, Assistant Director of Community Investment for L&Q spoke of the previous success of the project.

“The One Goal programme has already been a great achievement thanks to the enthusiasm and dedication of our partners and their local communities. We are delighted to know that L&Q is helping so many young Londoners to be active and imaginative during their school holidays.”
