After 18 years away, Slaven Bilic could not resist the lure of a Club close to his heart when West Ham United came calling in the summer.
Having spent a year at the Boleyn Ground as a player, the Claret & Blue never left Bilic and, as he explains in our It’s Time to Come Back video, he was honoured to be given the chance to manage the Hammers as they build to the new Stadium.

The manager said: “I always followed West Ham wherever I was. Once you play for West Ham, or once you are connected with West Ham, it stays with you for life.
“I missed it during my time away from this Club because it is a special Club, a cult Club, but what really makes West Ham special is the fans.”
