Alex Song cannot wait to make his comeback with the Hammers
Alex Song cannot wait to make his return to action with West Ham United.
The midfielder returned to the Hammers for a second loan spell on deadline day but has had to wait for his debut after undergoing ankle surgery in the summer.
But with a comeback now in sight, Song is itching to pull his boots on once more.
He said: “I’m getting better and don’t want anything to hurt my foot.
“It’s very hard because I was always playing and seeing your team-mates play, you want to be with them and help them but I can’t at the moment.
“It’s about getting my treatment done properly and then coming back to help the team.
“It’s good for me to be here, the future of the club is really big, in the next five years West Ham will be a very big club in London and I want to be part of the story.”
