Tottenham Hotspur 1-1 West Ham United
Premier League
20 November 2005
Anton Ferdinand headed an injury time equaliser to salvage a deserved draw for West Ham United at Tottenham Hotspur ten years ago today.
The defender connected with a Paul Konchesky corner three minutes into stoppage time to beat Paul Robinson and cancel out Mido's first half opener.
The Egyptian striker, who later had a spell with the Hammers, scored with a header himself, but Alan Pardew's men deserved the positive result they eventually gained.
Mark Noble was making his first top flight start for the Club and after Mido had sent his looping header over Shaka Hislop to give Spurs the lead, the Hammers youngster had a goal ruled out for offside.
Teddy Sheringham also went close in the second half, but West Ham eventually found a way through thanks to Ferdinand.
