Mark Noble says the Hammers will bounce back from defeat to Watford
Mark Noble was bitterly disappointed with the manner in which West Ham United lost their seven-match unbeaten run at Watford on Saturday.
The Hammers had the opportunity to match their best ever Barclays Premier League undefeated run, but a couple of defensive errors cost them dearly.
Odion Ighalo was the man who profited with the two goals for Watford, leaving Noble to call on his team to bounce back swiftly.
He said: "We actually started alright for the first five or ten minutes, but then they grew into the game.
"We weren't on it for sure - we weren't the team we normally are. The run had to come to an end [at some point], but it has come to an end in a disappointing manner.
"The second goal so soon after half time killed the game. They scored at a great time for them, but saying that we had a couple of chances outselves.
"But all in all, if I'm an honest man, I'll have to say that we didn't deserve to get anything from it. If we say if Enner's chance had gone in it could have changed the game, I think we're clutching at straws. Watford played very well, but of course it is disappointing to lose our unbeaten run like this."
Next up for the Hammers is a home meeting with Everton and Noble says the work on the training pitch this week will focus on putting Watford behind them.
He added: "We've already said in the dressing room that we know we're a very good team with very good players, but it didn't click on the day.
"You're going to get games like that during the season, we're not going to go through the season unbeaten, but the manner in which we lost wasn't good enough."
