West Ham United 5-1 Stoke City
Division One
14 May 1985
West Ham brushed aside Stoke City in their penultimate home game of the 1984/85 season with a goal laden display.
The Potters were already consigned to relegation from the top flight and managed to amass just 17 points over the course of their 42 matches.
Insult was added to the visitors' injury through goals from Ray Stewart, Geoff Pike, Paul Hilton and a brace from Billy Bonds.
This thumping victory followed the 4-2 loss which the Hammers handed Stoke earlier in the season and helped ensure that the hosts would enjoy a comfortable 16th place finish in Division One.
